ICOM is defining a new Museum Definition. No consensus was reached regarding the new museum definition presented at the General Conference in Kyoto in 2019. The decision was therefore postponed in order to switch to a more bottom-up method, councilling individual members, to discuss about what a museum is and wants to be.
We need your opinion. In this consultation round, ICOM Netherlands would like to discuss the results from the previous advices. In order to reach a wide consensus, we need your help.
